Nanc Gordon is an award-winning artist who applies simplicity and elegance to fresh compositions inspired by the natural world. From the Canadian Rockies to the Florida Everglades, she pursues the beauty of flowers and plants where striking color, exquisite patterns and surprising textures find their way into her watercolor and contemporary graphic paintings. Her work transforms complex compositions into clean, contemporary designs, each seeking to communicate the essential characteristics of the inspiration.

Nanc’s watercolors build up from forty plus layers of colors to a beautiful luminosity and richness. Her current series has a deep black background in a square format offering a contemporary twist that literally pops the flowers.

Nanc’s contemporary graphic paintings feature vibrant color, texture and pattern.  She works in series using a square format creating a fresh, modern look.

Originally from Boston, MA, Nanc attended Parsons School of Design in New York City earning a BFA.
